BIOGRAPHY:

Flint Adam grew up near Atlanta, Georgia... not far from the Flint River (hence, his name.)  He is the youngest of seven and a graduate of Fayette County High School.

In the fall of 1998, he enrolled at Georgia State University, in downtown Atlanta.  His voice first hit the airwaves in 1999 on now defunct WNNX - 99.7FM, a local alternative-rock station.

He later joined WRAS - 88.5FM, his university's 100,000 watt student-run radio station.  Flint began there working a 2am - 6am "graveyard" shift for a few months before moving up to afternoon drive time.  He later became host of "Planet 8", a popular Dance/Techno show that thumped Atlanta's airwaves each Friday night.  He left WRAS in early 2001, and began focusing on TV.

His break came spring-semester of 2002, when he was one of six students awarded an internship at WSB-TV Channel 2 Action News in Atlanta. The semester was well spent: he produced a résumé-tape that landed him his first TV job in Casper, Wyoming. He began working a week after graduation.

Flint spent two years at KTWO-TV... beginning as a weekend weathercaster and anchor / reporter... and ten months later, was promoted to weekday evening anchor.  In early 2004, he took home the Wyoming Association of Broadcaster's 1st place award for "Best News Piece".

In 2004, Flint moved to Palm Desert, California and began working at KESQ-TV.  He spent three years bringing weekend weather forecasts and weekday news reports to the Coachella Valley -- while serving as the go to fill-in anchor along the way.

In the spring of 2007, Flint finally got the opportunity he craved: a chance to return to the south! WZTV FOX 17 in Nashville, Tennessee hired him as a weekend weathercaster and 3-day a week reporter. A career that began in TV market 200 landed in market 29!

"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not, nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not, unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not, the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'press on' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."
